This Baked Boursin Salmon is a creamy, flavorful dish that's surprisingly simple to make. Whether you're planning a weeknight dinner or hosting guests, this salmon delivers buttery tenderness with a rich herb-cheese twist that makes everyone at the table pause mid-bite. Minimal effort, maximum flavor—this recipe is a can't-go-wrong kind of meal.
4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
1 (5.2 oz) package of Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
Zest and juice of ½ a lemon
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Preheat and Prep: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly oil your baking dish or line it with parchment for easier cleanup.
Season the Salmon: Pat salmon fillets dry. Place them skin-side down in the dish. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle over the lemon zest and minced garlic.
Add the Boursin: Slice or break up the Boursin cheese and place dollops on top of each fillet. It doesn’t have to be perfect—it’ll melt beautifully as it bakes.
Bake: Bake for 15–18 minutes, depending on thickness, until salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Optional: switch to broil for the last 1–2 minutes for a golden cheesy top!
Finish and Serve: Drizzle with lemon juice, sprinkle with parsley, and serve immediately while warm and creamy.
