For the Chicken:
2 lbs organic chicken breasts
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
2 teaspoons On Everything All-Purpose Blend (or your preferred seasoning blend)
1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
1 teaspoon sea salt
For the Hot Honey Sauce:
6 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup organic raw honey
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon chili powder
Pinch of sea salt
Prep and Season the Chicken:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, combine the chicken breasts with olive oil, sea salt, On Everything All-Purpose Blend, and smoked paprika.
Mix until the chicken is evenly coated.
Place the seasoned chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Using a sharp knife, make shallow cuts on top of each chicken breast, about 1 inch apart, to allow the sauce to penetrate during baking.
Prepare the Hot Honey Sauce:
In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter.
Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
Stir in the honey, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, chili powder, and a pinch of sea salt.
Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce becomes smooth and slightly thickened, about 3-5 minutes.
Remove from heat and set aside.
Bake the Chicken:
Brush the prepared hot honey sauce generously over the top of each chicken breast.
Reserve some sauce for serving.
Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the juices run clear.
Halfway through baking, baste the chicken with additional hot honey sauce for extra flavor.
Serve:
Once baked, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
Drizzle the reserved hot honey sauce over the chicken before serving.
