1 lb skinless salmon fillets, cut into bite-sized cubes
1 Tbsp olive oil (or avocado oil)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ cup all‑purpose flour
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
2 large eggs, beaten
Bang Bang Sauce:
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup Thai sweet chili sauce
1 Tbsp honey
1 Tbsp lime juice
1 Tbsp Sriracha (adjust to taste)
Prepare sauce: Whisk together mayonnaise, chili sauce, honey, lime juice, and Sriracha until smooth. Set aside.
Coat salmon: Season salmon cubes with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper. Dredge first in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, then roll in panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.
Pan-fry or air-fry:
For stovetop: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high; fry coated salmon bites in batches ~2–3 min per side until golden and cooked through.
For air fryer: Preheat to 400 °F; spray basket lightly, place bites in a single layer, and cook 8 min until crispy.
Sauce: Toss cooked bites with half the sauce or drizzle on top. Serve with remaining sauce for dipping.
Serve immediately to enjoy maximum crunch. Great as appetizers or paired with bowls of rice, greens, or salad.
