When I was a young adult, our basketball team, the Sacramento Kings, was great.
People actually knew that Sacramento existed!
We actually had a great sports team!
Naturally, we dreamed about when we would win the NBA Championship.
This never happened.
But there was something that I dreamed of for the Sacramento Kings even more than that.
And that's for the Kings to be talked about as Great!
For the Chris Webber Kings to be talked about as Legends!
Now, looking back at it, I realize that the Sacramento Kings of Chris Webber are talked about as Legends!
Are remembered the way the Stockton and Malone Jazz are remembered!
Are remembered for their 2002 series against the Lakers the way the Cleveland baseball team is remembered for their epic 1998 series against the legendary 1998 Derek Jeter Yankees!
Or the Red Sox for their 1975 season!
Now I know that the Chris Webber Sacramento Kings are remembered as legends- just like the Stockton and Malone Utah Jazz!
And that was my fondest hope and dream for our basketball team!
