If you believe in a good God who is all-powerful, than naturally this should be a perfect world.
Now, a perfect world can have evil. It may not be a simple perfection. Maybe God can work good out of evil.
After all, where would heroes be without evil to fight?
But if this is a perfect world, then it cannot be perfect without something else beyond this world thrown in.
Why?
Because we die.
Now, when we die we cease to exist in observable form.
This means one of two things.
Either we cease to exist.
Which is bad.
No perfect world can have people who cease to exist when they die.
Or we exist beyond the observable world.
And if we exist beyond the observable world, than any perfection in our conception of this world contains something beyond the observable world.
Namely, wherever we go when we die.
Maybe we stay right here.
Maybe it is us who are unobservable.
Or maybe we go somewhere else.
But wherever we are, after we die, we are beyond the observable world.
And so this world cannot be a perfect world by itself without anything else thrown in.
Because the conception of it as a perfect world contains at least one thing beyond the observable world.
Which is whatever happens to us when we die.
Thus, the world, if it is a perfect world created by a perfect God, as a perfect world contains at least one thing beyond the observable world.
Which is whatever happens to us when we die.
So go ahead!
Imagine Heaven as part of a perfect world!
For any conception of this as a perfect world already contains one thing beyond the observable world- Heaven!
Whatever it is that happens when we die!
Which assuming it is good and pleasant, we can call Heaven!
As a perfect world, this was not meant to be perfect without Heaven thrown in!
That's what completes the picture and makes this a perfect world!
Heaven!
Because any conception of this as a perfect world already contains one thing beyond the observable world- and that is the assumption that we continue on after we die, somewhere beyond the ability of us to observe things in the universe, and that is is something nice!
And whatever that is, is Heaven!
Because that is what Heaven is- something nice after we die!
This world is a perfect world only with Heaven thrown in!
Because we are already assuming we go somewhere when we die, and that we have a nice existence!
And that, by definition, is a form of Heaven!
This is a perfect world only with heaven thrown in!
