1Z-3: Let 'Black' people coach!

Once upon a time Jackie Robinson became the first 'Black' person to play major league baseball. All across America, in the World Series that year, people saw a 'Black' person playing alongside 'white' teammates.

Soon the civil rights movement was winning victories, America was progressing in leaps and bounds, and Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Ornette Coleman and the Beatniks were leading the spiritual revival of the world.

A lot of Americans trust people like Tupac Shakur and Miles Davis to be their spiritual leaders. But corperate America does not want to place 'Black' people in positions where America will see them being leaders.

We had a 'Black' president for 8 years. He led us into the happiest era America saw between 2001 and 2021. Out of a massive national crisis. But 15 years after Tony Dungy, a legend, became the first 'Black' coach to win a Super Bowl, there are still very few minority coaches in any major league sport in America.

Corperate America is so behind the curve. If a 'Black' man can lead America through a massive crisis into the happiest period for America between 2001 and 2021 as President of the United States, corperate America can trust a 'Black' man to run a football team.

Or a baseball team.

Or a basketball team.

Hell, it wasn't that long ago there wasn't even very many 'Black' quarterbacks.

Anyone today think we can't trust Russell Wilson to lead a football team as quarterback?

If sports is to do anything for us, it should put forth the right values.

It would mean so much for America right now to see more 'Black' men and women get opportunities to be seen as leaders.

As head coaches.

If we can trust a 'Black' President to lead America through a national crisis, we can trust a 'Black' person to lead a sports team through a kiddie game.

It would mean so much to America.

Let them coach.

Not just a few.

God loves you! And God wants you to help your fellow man and show love!

Sincerely,

David S. Annderson

P.S. If corperate America wants to know if a 'white' person will like a 'Black' head coach, just tell them I'm 'white'. Because I am.

And so are many of the people who voted for a 'Black' President in 2008 and 2012.

If 'white' America will accept a 'Black' President, they will accept a 'Black' head coach. And there are a lot of 'white' Americans who like Obama.
