Higglty Pigglty Digglty John went to the market and looked around

Higglty Pigglty Digglty John saw a box sticking out of the ground

And in that box was a hen, you see

And that hen laid golden eggs, you see

And that hen clucked, 'John, please take me home

And I'll lay golden eggs for you

Because I need a home!'

Higglty Pigglty Digglty John picked up the box and looked around

And said, I'll take you home with me

And I'll be able to pay my rent, you see

Higglty Pigglty Digglty John took the hen back to his home

And they stay up all night watching TV

And John and the hen are happy!
