It's nice to see someone reminding us of what America has done right!

In Oklahoma they are beginning to build a big Americana-themed theme park, devoted to down-home American culture.

It's nice to see someone reminding us that America is more than just a lot of angry people arguing over politics!

We have done some nice things in this country, we have a worthwhile culture just like every country.

It's nice to be reminded that America has brought us nice music, and warm homey things like county fairs, and whatever else they choose to celebrate in their theme park.

We gave the world Steven Spielberg and Star Wars, jazz music and Disneyland.

We are more than just a country that has made mistakes.

Our culture is as worthwhile as that of any country, and any American devoted to kindness has a legitimate interpretation of how to present that culture, and what parts of that culture mean the most to them.

We can look forward to seeing the personal presentation of American culture of the artists behind this park.

America right now (2023) could sure use something to remind us of what good we have in this country, and what we have done right!

I may be a Liberal, but I love corn dogs and Garth Brooks, county fairs and Americana as much as anyone!  My life experience growing up in a Liberal family was as steeped in Americana as anyone's!  We as a country have so much to give!  And we could sure use a reminder of what we have done right right now!

For another great example of Americana, presented in a unique way, listen to Brian Wilson's legendary once-lost album Smile!

Keep your head up, America!  You're doing just fine!  All countries go through difficulties!

God loves you!

Sincerely,

David S. Annderson

P.S. If you see the park and feel that your part of America is not represented, add your own voice to the mix!  Create your own artwork to show us your America!  The Internet is a great place for people like you and me to publish our works!  Show us your America!  The more the better!  (and if you are not from America, show us your China or your France or wherever you are from!)
