Divorce and child custody in an ideal society

I am a big believer in adults talking it out like gentlemen and ladies.

I think that certain things, before they go to court, should go through a process of trying to get the two sides to talk things out.

Divorce.

Child custody battles.

Things like that.

In an enlightened society, before something like that were allowed to go to court, the two sides would be required to work for a certain number of weeks with a professional negotiator who would be trying to work out an agreement between the two sides so that it did not have to go to court.

This would have to be done before it went to court, for otherwise the stress of going to court would make it far more difficult to talk things out.

And in an ideal society, in order to be eligible to take the case to court, the two sides would be required to first work with the negotiator for a certain length of time.

And the negotiator should be the one to decide how long they need to negotiate before going to court as a last resort.

I believe in two sides talking things out.

And I believe in sending someone to help the two sides talk things out.

Between two countries, or one country and a group of people.

And between individuals.

God loves you!

Sincerely,

David S. Annderson
