This is why the 'third world' is strong!
All across Africa, large parts of Asia, and Latin America are countries that have been working their way out of a hole.
Working their way out of the economic wreckage of European Imperialism.
We used to call them 'third world' countries.
This is why they are so strong.
The world today has a secret strength.
Across Africa, Asia, and Latin America are countries that have been working hard to work their way out of a hole.
That struggle has made them strong!
That struggle has built character!
And now that these 'third world' countries have had a chance to build a little of something, they are strong!
The Omicron variant of coronavirus was detected in Botswana and South Africa long before it was detected anywhere else
Even though it had already reached the rich countries like the United States!
That is the strength that came from working their way out of a hole!
We have to stop thinking about the poor 'third world' countries as weak and helpless!
Because that struggle has made them strong!
In the decades to come, we will see amazing things come from that strength!
For when we face adversity, we become strong!
And countries like Botswana are starting, slowly but surely, to work their way out of that hole!
Many of them have a ways to go!
But that struggle has already made them strong!
The next great light of Humanity in our world may be coming out of places like Botswana!
The next great light of Humanity after the great light just starting to emerge out of India and China today- countries that have themselves struggled and been made strong!
After India the light of countries like Botswana and South Africa will be the next great light to emerge!
For the struggle has made them strong!
We haven't seen their like- not until China and India began to emerge!
The light of the world will come from places like this!
For the struggle has made them strong!
And we are only just starting to see what India and China* can do!
After India and China* will come more!

*China hasen't fully climbed out of the hole yet, though! The damage to their political system is part of the hole! So we will see what a country that has climbed their way out of a hole can do for the first time when we start to see what India can do!
