1Z-9: A Tribute To The Black Churches In America

One of my favorite things in the world is the old Black spirituals. The old Gospel hymns, like 'Gimme that old time religion' and 'down by the riverside' and 'Go, Tell it on the Mountain'.

These come from the Black churches in America. Their services are amazing. I have only seen them on TV, but even through the TV they are amazing.

Here is this part of America where not only have the churches been faithful, never ask us to vote for a bully, don't care about the concerns of Capitalist businessmen, but their services, their music, everything they do is absolutely amazing.

I didn't know the half of it.

Now I know that they have been preaching around the world. I saw on Wikipedia that the Pentecostal church is the second largest church in the world after the Catholic church. I thought,'that can't be from the Black churches. That's almost as many people as there are in the entire United States!'

Yup. That's the Black churches. They've been preaching around the world, and now they have almost as many people as there are in the entire United States in their Pentecostal churches alone. That's not counting the Black Baptist churches and their converts, and others.

(I know that there are white Pentecostal Churches. That's because whites have always been welcome in the Black churches! The Pentecostal church started as a single church in Los Angeles that attracted whites as well as blacks. If the Black church has preached around the world, of course they would preach in white America!)

Wow. They sure haven't hid their light under a bushel- they've spread the light of their belief all throughout the world, from Nigeria and Kenya to India and Korea and The Phillippines.

This is an alternate America- an America that is the new Jerusalem.

And remember, as our new Jerusalem faces hardship: Jerusalem has faced hardship before.

This hardship has always led to great new triumphs!

Out of the time of the Babylonian Captivity came the triumphs of the time of Cyrus the Great and the Second Temple, when the light of Jerusalem was spread around the world.

Out of the darkness of the Third Century Crisis of the Roman Empire came the triumph of Christ across the entire Mediterranean.

The Black Churches in America is the America that is the New Jerusalem, and like the old Jerusalem, the New Jerusalem will triumph in its time of darkness!

Praise the Lord! Halleluja! Amen!

Thank you, Lord.

This is my tribute to the Black churches of America.

Thank you, Lord, for those that spread the Light of Jesus!

Thank you, Lord.

Sincerely,

David S. Annderson
