A Rider's Chance

An old cowpoke went riding out one dark and windy day

Upon a ridge he rested as he went upon his way

When all at once a mighty herd of red-eyed cows he saw

Plowing through the ragged sky, and up a cloudy draw

Yippi-yi-ay, yippy-yi-ooh

Ghost riders in the sky

Their brands were still on fire and their hooves were made of steel

Their horns were black and shiny and their hot breath he could feel

A bolt of fear went through him as they thundered through the sky

For he saw the riders comin' hard, and he herd their mournful cry

Yippi-yi-ay, yippi-yi-ooh

Ghost riders in the sky

Their hands were scarred, their eyes were tired, their shirts were soaked with sweat

They're riding hard to catch that herd, but they ain't caught 'em yet

They'll have to ride forever in that range up in the sky

Trying to catch the Devil's herd across the endless sky

And every day Jesus who is Krishna appears to them, resplendent in shining light

And asks them, 'Are you ready to ask forgiveness for your sins?'

And every day most of them reply, 'Hell no!'

For all of them that are ready don't last more than a day

And in fact most that are ready don't even make it there to begin with

But start on the Divine Road immediately

But anyone who replies 'yes' is taken out of that place

And guided by Jesus Himself who is Krishna through the Divine Road of repentence and forgiveness and paying back your debt to society

On their way to the place where the Divine Light always shines bright

Where so many see the riders and shake their heads

It's so easy

Why don't they?

And pray for those left behind

But God has a plan to reach them too

In time

All in good time!

God loves you!

Sincerely,

David S. Annderson

*Of course, this is just a fantasy.  In reality they all go to God's healing place, where they are healed of the pain that caused their sins and get a chance to pay back their debt to society!
