The future will return to Ethiopia and Somalia in time.
But right now, Ethiopia needs our help.
They are in a massive drought, so if you intend on giving to charity and have the money to spare (so many of us don't right now), consider putting Ethiopia on your list.
We helped in the 80's in the time of Live Aid! We can help now!
Don't give up hope! With our help, the future will return to Ethiopia!
Things seem to be getting better in Somalia- at least some parts of Somalia have a more stable government and are free of war (although I know little of Ethiopia and Somalia today)- the future will return to Ethiopia as well!
But if you have the money to spare- so many of us today don't- we can help out right now! Every little bit helps! You don't know- the $10 you give could save the life of a child that will grow up to be Ethiopia's Kennedy or Roosevelt 40 years from now! Or Ethiopia's John Lennon to inspire the whole nation!
Don't give up hope for the future! Germany was in much worse shape in 1940 than Ethiopia is now- and look at where Germany is now!
Don't give up hope for the future in any country or region of the world- today's war-torn region, like Korea in 1950, could be tomorrow's South Korea- tomorrow's leader and marvel of the modern era!
So if any of you are reading this in Ethiopia, or Afghanistan, or someplace like that, don't give up hope! Look at Germany and south Korea!
Ethiopia 20 years from now could be the new south Korea! And our help right now will make a big difference!
