Why the cow is sacred in India

The noble ox.

For 6,000 years he pulled our plows.

Patient, silent, never complaining. Maybe a gentle moo.

A horse needs to be led around.

Not an ox. An ox will take directions from afar like a sheepdog.

For 6,000 years he pulled our loads, our plow, our heavy loads.

And she gives milk.

A nice benefit on the side.

As she, or her beau, pulls our plow.

If we revere the noble horse, why not the noble ox?

This is why the cow is sacred in India.

God loves you!

Sincerely,
