Here's why you are innocent until proven guilty

When there is a danger and people are getting hurt, does it make sense to introduce a new danger that might not solve the original problem?

If a house is on fire, does it make sense to release a wild tiger into the neighborhood when you don't know if the tiger will stop the fire?

Of course not.

But that is exactly what we are doing when we punish an accused person who hasen't been proven guilty.

We are introducing a new danger- hurting a person- without knowing if it will help solve the problem and protect people.

This is why we are innocent until proven guilty.

God loves you! And He wants you to take good care of His children! And they are all His children!

Sincerely,
