Toungue (mostly) very not in cheek: N. California to a N. Californian (or, I can parody (tribute?) Hank Williams too)

I was one of the chosen few to be born north of LA

I don't like a big city unless it's the City by the Bay

I've seen great, big mountains and Pine Trees by the Sea

If this isn't the Promised Land it's close enough for me

If Heaven ain't a lot like California, I don't wanna go

If Heaven ain't a lot like Northern California I'd just as soon stay home

If they don't have great, big Oak Trees and Redwoods by the Sea

Then send me to Hell or Los Angeles, it'll be bout the same to me

--(and it IS the line

Again, sorry LA, but this is Paradise you're being compared to- it just isn't a fair comparison! from the original song!)--

(Southern California is very beautiful too where it's close to Nature, including the beaches and Foothills around LA)
