The Legend of Cafeisha, the Coffee Goddess

The younger sister of Yavanna, Cafeisha is a tall, beautiful Black woman, graceful and grand. Like many Angelic Spirits, when she needs to travel through the water, she often assumes the form of a Mermaid.

With the touch of her finger or the breath of her lips she can make you feel better. Every Morning she prays to the Lord, "Lord, these people have such trouble waking up in the morning, I mean really waking up. Please speed my Blessings to them," and He always does.

One day she took the form of a great Tree, tall and strong, and sprouted Seeds. These seeds were taken up and planted by the Birds of the Forest and became the first Coffee Trees, and through them the blessing of Cafeisha has been spread throughout the world.

Born in Africa, Cafeisha was raised in Ethiopia by her sister Teanna, the Tea Goddess. Although they are sometimes called the Caffeine Twins, the mysterious Teanna, adopted daughter of Shennong, the Emperor who prepared the way for the mythical Yellow Emperor of China, is actually older by at least 4,000 years.

Thank you, Cafeisha, and thank you Lord, Great Goddess. Amen!
