1Z-3: People are confused about race

I don't owe a blood debt that I can never pay to the 'Black' race, one that can never be paid no matter how much I do for 'Black' people, and one which requires me to feel guilty for the rest of my existence.

No matter how much I give, no matter how much I try, there is still someone on TV and in rap music who hates me and wants me to feel guilty.

I don't owe a blood debt that I can never pay to the 'Black' race.

I wasn't even alive when those things happened.

No one alive today was.

Even most of the people in the American South in the early 19th Century had nothing to do with it, and had nothing they could do about it- if they didn't want to get killed or arrested.

In the mid-twentieth century my ancestors were fighting against segregation. To this day I proudly wear the long hair of my Hippy ancestors who fought against segregation, and I actively promote their values in everything I do.

The white people who created segregation are dead. Long dead. The oldest white people in America today are those Hippies who successfully fought segregation.

What I do owe to 'Black' people is what I owe everyone out there- to give my best effort at comforting them and giving them love, without having to feel guilty about it, because everyone needs love.

And to especially give love to those who are suffering the most- which includes 'Black' people. And to not feel guilty about it but be proud, because I am doing a good thing and not a bad thing. Because everyone needs love.

We will get through this together.

We only need Love.

Sincerely,

David S. Annderson
