The natural world and the Divine

There are things in the world around us to admire and appreciate. The beauty of nature, the warmth of the best of the human world, the world of community and character.

The Divine does not have to take us away from these things. For the Divine does not have to be something distant.

Instead, the Divine can be something that is all around us. Sure, part of it is way off in dreamland and heaven, but it is also all around us. And it can give us insight into the inner nature, the inner true nature of the beautiful things around us, all the beauty of nature and all the warmth and character of the best of the human world.

To not take us away from those things, but rather, to reveal the deep inner nature of these things to us.

Something to think about.

God loves you!

Sincerely,

David S. Annderson

P.S. I thought of this as I was watching a lecture on Nietzsche. The lecturer was saying that all those things around us like nature and the human world were important to Nietzsche, and that is why he distanced himself from ideas of an absolute world of the Divine. This was my response.
