A Portrait of My Love: What I do as a writer

'It would take I know a Michaelangelo

And he would need the glow of Dawn that paints the sky above

To try to paint a portrait of my love'

And that is what I do as a writer.

I try to take the glow of Dawn that paints the sky above

And I try to paint a portrait of my love

For that is what I see in the world that I write about.

From Ming China and Gupta India to the Sequoia groves and the redwood forests to the beauty and wonder of the early space age and the rebirth of the world, that is what I see out there in the things from our world that I write about.

I can't claim to be a Michaelangelo- I believe that is for my fans to judge, not for me to judge. And that's a pretty high standard. Michaelangelo is practically a demigod. But that is what I do.

It's a beautiful world out there!

And most of us don't even know most of what is out there!

And I feel privileged to write about it all!

God loves you! Keep your head up! And don't forget to look for the beautiful things!

Sincerely,

David S. Annderson

P.S. To find the song I quote above google 'Portrait of my Love'. It's a most beautiful song! And Steve Lawrence sings it gorgeously backed by the most beautiful arrangement!
