It's true! Vegetarian doesn't have to mean vegetables!

There are a lot of plant-based foods besides vegetables!

You know what vegetarian-based food is in Iran?

Good traditional bread, lentils and other nice, protein-rich legumes in good traditional legume dishes, a variety of herbs and spices... all kinds of good stuff!

If you like vegetables, that's fine... but vegetarian does not have to mean vegetables!

And I don't mean just imitation meat!

Good traditional bread, lentil dishes, hummus, pea soup, rice with curry, dishes with rich herbs and spices... fruit, rich tomato sauces, potato salad, potato soup... there's all kinds of things out there with plant foods!

And that's even if you go vegan and avoid beans!

Just wanted you to know!

God loves you! And variety is the spice of life!

Sincerely,

David S. Annderson
