Stephen Universe and The Owl House are two of the greatest television shows ever made.
I never had a chance to watch them much- I haven't watched much television since before Stephen Universe premiered, and I don't think I have had much access to cable television since then (I write my stories instead, and these are the only two shows that make me come even close to regretting it- which I don't, I love, love, love spending that time writing my stories!)
But from what I have seen of them they look to be something spectacular!
And that's exactly what the legions of fans say!
I know The Owl House mainly through fan art on Deviantart.
I will simply say that I wish I could know the show better- except that that would take time away from my writing, which I love even more!
Both shows were cancelled because they represent people who are different.
It is not PC to be different right now.
It is not PC to be Liberal right now.
Right now it is PC to be careful not to offend Trump's crazies.
It's been that way for a long time. (It is 2023.)
It is inconvenient to be different right now.
If you're not exactly like Ronald Regan, God help you.
And so, of course, these shows which represented people who are different in the spirit of Sesame Street and The Muppets got axed.
We got screwed.
Look, Disney, you have nothing to fear from Trump's crazies.
They don't watch Disney anyway.
You guys are winning the fight with Ron DeCrazy right now. DeCrazy's ship is sinking. Soon he will be just another governor who no one outside of his state pays any attention to.
You don't need to fear them.
You don't need them.
You will turn off more viewers by catering to them than by turning them away.
They are loud. But they are not that many.
Far more people are moderates. It's just the crazies that scream loudest.
You want viewers who are sane, anyway!
We are your fans!
What will those crazies ever be, other than a pain in the ass and possibly a threat?
You have to be saner than that to be a real fan!
The only thing they are a fan of is Trump and what he stands for!
You cannot compete with that!
You want nice moderates as fans, we will be true fans!
And we're the ones who are getting screwed!
Look, this is why so many people go on the Internet rather than watch television!
You are losing viewers to Youtube by doing this!
A successor to Stephen Universe and The Owl House will come!
But it will come on Youtube, not on The Disney Channel!
We have lost two of the best television shows ever!
God loves you! At least we have what was made! Look to Youtube for the future!
