Here's where I admit that I don't have all the answers.
I don't know God's plans for the world. I believe that there must be something relevant to our times (the past century or so, starting in 1914 in Europe and a hundred years before that in Asia and Africa) in the Biblical prophecies of the Apocalypse. The descriptions of the Apocalypse in the Gospel of Matthew, 24:5-14, which the entire Book of Revelation is based on are just so uncanny as a description of what we went through as a world in the time of the two World Wars and the Cold War.
If you believe that there is a God, than that cannot be a coincidence. Those prophecies are so well known, so widely spread. And in books where God gives us advice.
God must have put put them, or allowed them to be put there, for a reason.
And the descriptions of the Apocalypse in the Book of Revelation sound so uncannily like the World Wars.
There is only one possible explanation.
We have already survived the Apocalypse.
For the Apocalypse was the World Wars, the Cold War, and European imperialism.
We have already survived the Apocalypse.
So... what does that mean?
If God really was trying to tell us something in the Book of Revelation, what does it mean?
In Revelation, God promised to return in the flesh to set things right after the Apocalypse.
I think that there are two possibilities.
One is that God wants us to revive the world first before He comes back.
The other is that He already came.
In invisible form.
Was always there, as He always is.
And has already worked His magic.
For the world is in the process of being reborn right now!
Look at Poland right now! In the European Union!
Look at Bulgaria now!
Look at Japan, and South Korea, and Bollywood in India!
The world is being reborn right now!
That is what Revelation promised!
That when the World Wars came, God would revive the world!
Only He did not need to appear to us in the flesh to do it!
We have already survived the Apocalypse!
And the world is being reborn right now!
And we will see God in person when we die!
And we have not even begun to see what God has in store for the modern world!
The world is in the process of being reborn.
It is not fully reborn yet!
Not for a couple centuries! Full healing will take time!
When it is, it will look more like Ming China and Mughal India!
Which were so beautiful, and so wonderful and spectacular! And that is our future! Our future will be like that!
