If you are writing your first book, don't give up!
It isn't easy to finish your first book!
It took me 10 years to finish my first book!
It didn't take me 10 years to finish my second book!
In fact, I finished all of the core of 'Song of the Age of Wonder' and my history of the early space program in only one and a half years- and that's six whole books!
So if you're writing your first book, don't give up!
Because it isn't easy to finish your first book!
But your second book will come much easier!
And your third book easier still!
Don't give up! For a lot of things are like that!
