I was just watching a YouTube video about the teachings of the Hindu philosopher Ramanuja and his philosophy, Visishtadvaita Vedanta. And he, or his school of thought, was described as teaching that the world and its people are essentially God's body- something under God's control which does not move without Him. That the world, and us in it with the world, is God's body. Something which I myself believe wholeheartedly.
As I watched them saying this, I thought of the convulsions of the past 200 years, of the World Wars and the Industrial Revolution, and I thought, 'well, God must have done something really radical with His body. Some kind of a short, sharp motion of great strength.'
And then, following the metaphor even further, I thought, 'what wonderful things will we find when we find out what God's purpose for that radical sharp motion is!'
And I believe that that is true.
God has done something really big with the world. Really big. In the past 200 years.
What wonderful things will we find, probably well beyond my imagination, when we reach God's purpose for those changes!
For God did something really big with the world.
And he meant to create something wonderful with it!
