Ockam's Razor proves God's existence!

It is always argued that Ockam's Razor disproves God's existence.

I say no. If you realize the truth, if you know the true logic, Ockam's Razor proves God's existence!

But first things first. What's Ockam's Razor?

It's the very sensible idea that one should believe in a simpler explanation rather than a complicated or unlikely explanation.

And so people have said, well then, there is no God. For God is a complex, unlikely explanation for anything.

But Ockam's Razor does not say to believe in only simple, easy explanations. It says to believe in the simplest, most likely explanation that exists. Even if the simplest, easiest explanation is an unlikely, complicated explanation- as long as it's the simplest, easiest explanation we've got.

And the existence of God is the simplest explanation for the existence of the Universe.

In fact, we have never figured out an alternative explanation for the existence of the Universe other than the absurd idea that it just poof- came into being out of nothing and the idea that there is no reason that the Universe exists, that it was just simply always there.

But Aristotle points out that that isn't good enough. Maybe the Universe was always there. It still has to have a cause. Why is it there at all? Why has something always been there? Why isn't there just nothing?

Ockam's Razor says to believe the simplest, most likely explanation. And the existence of God is a much easier, more likely explanation than the Universe just poof! came into existence from nothing, or, even more absurd, has no cause at all!

And there's one more thing: the ancient Egyptians told us where God came from. They called God Atum, the Self-Created Source of All. God is His own cause.

And it's much more believable that God, an intelligent being, is his own cause than that a non-intelligent Universe is somehow its own cause.

So there you have it. Ockam's Razor proves the existence of God.

Spread the word! God loves you!

Sincerely,
