Thank you, Gregory Robinson!

Thank you for not giving up on the James Webb Space Telescope!

Gregory Robinson is the director of the James Webb Space Telescope at NASA.

As many of you might know, the James Webb Space Telescope was delayed over and over, for many years, and many of us were afraid it would never get off the ground.

But Director Gregory Robinson, director of the project, grew up the son of poor sharecroppers.

When you work your way out of a situation like that, through a racially segregated elementary school, to earn two degrees in college, you don't give up easily.

Gregory Robinson never gave up on the James Webb Space Telescope.

Now it is bringing back incredible images from far-off galaxies!

If you are living in the ghetto, and you're 'Black', or Latino, or something like that, look at Gregory Robinson.

If someone can work their way out of sharecropping, someone can work their way out of the ghetto.

And the determination you learn on your way will take you places.

That determination is just what they need in places like NASA.

Now because Gregory Robinson never gave up on that dream, all our dreams of the beautiful James Webb Space Telescope that we all had 20 years ago have come true!

Thank you, Gregory Robinson!

Because if someone like you haden't refused to give up on the James Webb Space Telescope, we would have given up on it years ago in the middle of all those delays!

And now a telescope over two and a half times the width of Hubble is bringing back pictures from the far origin of the Universe!

All our beautiful space telescope dreams from Hubble and the 90's are coming true all over again!

Thank you, Gregory Robinson, for not giving up on the James Webb Space Telescope!

God loves you! All of you!

Sincerely,

David S. Annderson
