1Z-1: Diversity training, not Race theory!

Virginia Governor Glenn Younkin opposes the so-called 'Critical Race Theory'.  Democrats support it.

I believe both sides are right.

A huge range of ideas goes by the umbrella term 'Critical race Theory'.  Some very good, some very bad.

To put it bluntly, teaching people to accept diversity, to accept people who are different, and to try to sympathize with other race's points of view is good.

Accusing entire races is bad.

The so-called 'Critical Race Theory' does both.      Because it contains such a wide range of different ideas.

Some of these ideas are very good.  Some of them are very bad.

Republicans focus on the bad ideas, Democrats and minorities focus on the good ideas.

And they disagree.

And that's okay.    Because that is part of the Democratic process.      As long as we try to talk it out like gentlemen.

Out society is still trying to figure out how to put ideas on diversity in legal terms.    It is not an easy task.

It is one thing to teach it to normal people in music and song.      It is quite another thing to define it in legal terms.

We are still in the process of trying to figure out how to do this right.

When we disagree and try to talk it out, that's when we learn how to get it right.

We need to talk it out.    To figure out how to promote diversity training and not race theory.

Because teaching people to accept diversity is good.    And teaching people that an entire race is bad is terrible.

And if we talk it out we will figure this one out.  Only by disagreeing and trying to talk it out like gentlemen.

People like Donald Trump are not willing to talk it out.

Glenn Younkin is not like Donald Trump.    People like Glenn Younkin are willing to talk it out.  If we only try.

And by talking it out we can learn and get better at it.  Only by disagreeing and trying to talk it out.

And if you ever doubt, support Love.  Because only Love will heal the wounds of hate.

God loves you!

Sincerely,

David S. Annderson
