I will leave it up to you as to whether you believe in the Star Wars prequels.
Like any religious dispute, I refuse to take sides.
But my understanding is that the Midichlorians are not the source of the force.
They are merely what connects us to the force.
The explanation for why some are strong in the force and some are not.
They are connected to the force; through them, some of us are strong in the force.
But we are all the source of the Force.
It comes from all life, and it binds us all.
God loves you! May the Force be with you!
Sincerely,
David S. Annderson
P.S. A Neutral Analysis of the Religious Dispute:
Reasons why I love the Star Wars prequels:
*The characters in the prequels who I actually saw in the original were everything I wanted them to be
*Yoda was everything I wanted him to be
*Young Obi-Wan was everything I wanted him to be
*the young(er) Emperor was an awesome villain
*Obi-Wan got a great character arc
*The world of the Jedi and the Old Republic was all I imagined they would be
*We got to see more awesome Jedi masters
*Qui-gon Jin
*Mace Windu
*I knew that the midichlorians were not the source of the Force
*The fall of the Old Republic was suitably grand and tragic
*Anakin Skywalker is a great tragic character
Reasons to not like the Star wars prequels:
You grew up imagining Luke Skywalker's father to have been a legendary hero before he fell to the dark side; Anakin in the prequels is a great tragic character, but he is not a good hero; if you wanted Luke's father to be a legendary hero, then the prequels probably broke your heart
But your author identified mainly with the characters who he actually saw on screen in the original trilogy, so this did not bother him
Go ahead- imagine your own prequels! It's your mind!
