(Sung to the tune of 'Do They Know it's Christmas?' by Band Aid)
It's Christmastime, there's no need to be afraid
On Christmastime we let in light and banish hate
And in our world of plenty, we spread a smile of joy
Throw your arms around the world at Christmastime
But say a prayer, pray for the other ones
On Christmastime, it's hard, but while you're having fun
There's people outside in the world, that only believe in fear
Where they've lost their faith in Love, and cry bitter tears
Where the Christmas chimes to them sound like
the clanging chimes of doom
Well, tonight thank God it's them instead of you!
And there won't be snow in America this Christmastime
Half of them don't even believe in life
Where factionalism grows
And they'll barely see the snow
Do they know it's Christmastime at all?
Keep your head up, America, most of it's in your head!
There's a beautiful world out there!
God loves you! Really She does!
Sincerely,
David S. Annderson
