Just sitting here, thinking it rather odd that there is a wild dog in India called a D-hole
Am I pronouncing it right? Or is there a way to squeeze in a 'D' and an 'H' into the front end of the same syllable?
You'd have to demonstrate that one for me. Unless it's like 'zh' or something like that.
That would be a super-cool name for a beast. The 'Zhole'.
Then again, 'coyote' probably sounded pretty weird when we first tried to pronounce it with our English accents.
The old Arabic ships, the Dhows, have that 'Dh' just before the 'o' as well. Maybe it is Arabic? There are Khans in India- Aamir Khan, etc- there must be some Arabic in India!
Maybe the Arabs know how to squeeze in a 'D' and an 'H' into the front of the same syllable?
But of course, when you hear something pronounced properly in a native accent, it always sounds so beautiful and natural.
Language has a million stories!
God loves you!

(Yeah, this odd little one is one I don't want to be too sincere about!)
