I hate that word 'Consumer'. We are not here to consume.
The goal of our economy should not be to consume as much as we can. That's how our modern world got racial problems and 2 World Wars.
I believe in a world of customers. Of neighbors. Of friends, and of Family.
I believe in Community.
My readers are not Consumers. They are valued Customers and fellow passers on of the Light.
And that community and responsability extends to me as a customer.
Being a customer is Community, and Community means that it works both ways.
I believe in expecting myself as a Customer to give the same Kindness and Respect to the employees of a place I go to as a customer that I would want from them.
I am not a Consumer.
I am giving back.
And I am not waiting for them to make the first move.
I make the first move.
I say 'Thank you' and give kindness first as a Customer.
You'd be surprised at how many friends you make at the grocery store that way.
We can still have Community.
We can still be Customers.
And it can start with us.
You never know how many new friends you will make at Starbucks or the grocery store!
God loves you! It can start with us!
Sincerely,
David S. Annderson
