I went fishing for girls and boys outside the college yesterday, using kit kat bars as bait.
Sure enough, I caught a nice tender 19-year-old named James at the end of my line.
'Let me go,' James said, 'For my mom owns an electronics store, and I will give you a new iphone if you let me go.'
I let him go, and James ran away laughing.
Later that day I caught that same tender James at the end of my line.
'I'm sorry I didn't come back with your iphone,' James said, 'If you let me go I will come back with your iphone in 10 minutes.'
I let him go, and James ran away laughing.
30 minutes later I caught that same tender 19-year-old named James at the end of my line.
He was delicious.
Isn't that sad?
We could have been best friends instead!
We could have told our grandchildren of the adventures we had!
Maybe I should have been fishing for friends instead!
God loves you and so do I! Not as food or as a consumer, as a friend!
Sincerely,
David S. Annderson
