There's two American vernaculars.
Country and Blaccent.
There's no 'white' Liberal American vernacular!
What's a 'white' American Rock and Roll fan to do?
Cause, forget Liberal. There's simply way too many things that Rock and Roll loves that country doesn't!
Not that I don't love country, but there are just so many things that Rock and Roll loves that country doesn't!
Cosmipolitanism, colorfulness, musical sophistocation, African polyrhythms and American syncopation, fuzz guitar solos, letting each and every musical style you like in, Hippy ideals... I could go on and on!
I am Rock and Roll, and my world is defined by those things!
The country people would be hella mad if you represented half of those with their vernacular!
And Rock and Roll is proud to pay tribute to its roots, and its roots ain't in White civilization!
Rock and Roll is two things- Black and American. Even when it's British. Rock and Roll ain't White, and Rock and Roll is proud of its roots!
Rock and Roll worships guys like Chuck Berry!
What's a Rock and Roller to do?
Get creative, I suppose!
'Cause you can't be Rock and Roll and be formal!
Oh, yeah, Yuppie rock! That's a thing! :D (No! No way! :D)
God loves you!
Sincerely,
David S. Annderson
P.S. The British do American so well when they do Rock and Roll- so well that they have their own way of being American! Heard of Irish American? Mexican American? Well, this is American British! Rock and Roll!
P.P.S. Of course Rock and Roll is politically incorrect! Rock and Roll does not believe in Rap Segregation! Or any kind of Segregation! Rock and Roll does not give a rat's ass what race you are, and Rock and Roll believes in togetherness and freedom!
There's three big, signature differences between Rock and Roll and Rap- Rock and Roll does not believe in Rap Segregation, Rock and Roll believes in Freedom, and Rock and Roll believes in joy! All of the other differences are small differences by comparison!
