No, I mean it. Let's think this over rationally, judging no one. What are you afraid of?
If we can face a fear and treat it with reason, we can defeat it. You're worth it.
What are you afraid of?
What fear drives homophobia?
Fear that someone would force themselves upon you?
Well, of course that would be awful, and that would not be okay!
That's called sexual molestation, and if that is what you are afraid of, that is just natural!
Being afraid of that is like being afraid of being in a train wreck.
And if that happens, it's okay to call the cops.
But it won't happen.
Gays are the last people who will do that to you.
They are more afraid of You.
So- what else are you afraid of?
That someone will seduce you?
That someone that you aren't attracted to will seduce you?
That's a logical contradiction.
That can't happen.
It's normal. People get afraid of logical contradictions all the time.
So- what else are you afriad of?
That you will 'turn gay'?
Either you are or you aren't.
Are you happy being straight? That's enough to settle it.
Well, anyway, I hope that helps you get over your fears!
Keep going over it, keep practicing facing those fears! For you will get stronger with practice!
For you are a worthwhile person, and you are more than your fears!
God loves you!
Sincerely,
David S. Annderson
