It's not the kodiak bear, or the polar bear!
I worded the title carefully!
Land may not be its main habitat, but the Stellar's Sea Lion can get around reasonably well on land! (unlike the even larger elephant seal!)
And while the kodiak bear usually tops out at around 1500 pounds (or 680 Kg), a bull Stellar's Sea Lion can easily exceed 2,000 pounds- or even 1,000 Kg, which is even larger!
Even the normal-sized sea lions, like the California Sea Lion, the females are fully the size of a leopard, and the bull is easily the size of a tiger!
That's a big animal!
How can an animal that big and powerful be that cute?
Keep your distance!
Honestly, though, while it is a good idea to keep your distance, you are safer 60 feet away from a bull sea lion than you are 60 feet away from a similar-sized tiger!
For sure!
And these are the animals that we take for granted!
No need for dinosaurs, we live in a world of Stellar's Sea Lions, Blue Whales, Giraffes, and Elephants!
God loves you! Take care of the Earth! And keep up hope! We'll save the Earth!
Sincerely,
David S. Annderson
