I was just getting ready to eat and go to bed, and I was saying to myself, in a kind of singsong way:
Eat, sleep, poop. Eat, sleep, poop. Just like a baby!
Babies are wonderful. I love babies.
Babies do just five things. Eat, sleep, poop, cry, and giggle.
But, hell, everyone eats and poops. A crying baby is not that horrible.
A sleeping baby? divine.
And a giggling baby? Life itself.
I love babies.
But babies have a secret.
Babies do something else, unseen to us, all the while they eat, sleep, poop, cry, and giggle.
40 years ago a baby was lost.
Not that long ago she was found. She is now a 40-year-old mother of two teenagers of her own.
Babies are remarkable.
Babies do two things other than eat, sleep, poop, cry, and giggle.
They learn and grow.
God loves you!
Sincerely,
David S. Annderson
P.S. Baby Jesus is different from other babies. Other babies do five things: eat, sleep, poop, cry, and giggle.
Baby Jesus does five things. Eat, sleep, poop, giggle, and do nuclear physics in his head.
God loves you!
