There is a movie where a character played by Madonna, around 2000 or so, says that as a woman she is, and I quote, 'competing with the 18-year-olds'.
That a woman is always competing with someone younger, at least once she approaches 30.
I have only one thing to say.
Cleopatra did not sweep Julius Ceasar off his feet because she was pretty.
She was not pretty. Not on her coins, anyway.
Cleopatra swept Julius Ceasar off his feet because she was learned.
She had a mind.
She could converse with him in multiple languages.
She could speak languages he did not.
She could tell him of great Queens of Egypt a thousand years before her.
And she knew how to work it.
If you know how to work it like a Cher or a Madonna
The 18 year olds will be trying to keep up with YOU.
Only one 18-year-old star in the past 40 years knew how to work it like a Cher or a Madonna or a Janet Jackson.
And that was Britney.
If you have a Mind
And you know how to work it
Then you will not need to compete with 18 year olds.
You will be able to sweep a Julius Ceasar off his feet.
In the old days 44 was considered a cut off age for woman stars.
But only because Cher and Tina Turner had not shown how it was done yet.
Cher, Tina Turner, Madonna, JLo...
There is no cut off age anymore.
Not since Cher and Tina Turner showed how it is done.
Don't ever feel that you are too old to be a star.
You have a Mind.
And you can work it like a Cleopatra
Work it like a Cher or a Madonna
And be a Star!
