What was the point to boycotting the Golden Globes if we don't support them once they try to change?
If we were not going to support their change, and welcome them back, we might as well have not boycotted them at all and just let them have their little awards show!
I mean, hey, the Queen Mother from Black Panther actually has a Best Supporting Actress nomination!
Let's give the Golden Globes a big welcome back and support their efforts to change, even if they seem not big enough!
For it is still change!
And if we were not going to support it, we might as well have not boycotted the Golden Globes at all and simply let them have their little awards show!
So let's welcome the Golden Globes back, even if the change seems too small!
For it is still change!

P.S. Maybe the change is not small! Angela Bassett won for her role as the Queen Mother in Black Panther 2 (which I am looking forward to seeing in theaters as soon as these storms in California pass!), and Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan both won for Everything Everywhere All at Once, which I would also love to see one day!
(I don't watch that many movies anymore- I love my writing too much! But Everything Everywhere All at Once looks like such an intriguing story! Obviously a special masterpiece movie!)
