I remember the 1980's. America did not have a lot of problems with race in the 1980's.
Remember when we thought we had solved most of America's problems with race back in the 1960's?
We did.
The only reason America has problems with race now is that America has been massively stressed out for the last 30 years.
And that stress manifested itself along old patterns.
For the last time before the 90's that America was stressed out, race was a big part of what we were stressed out about.
And the other big part of what we were stressed out about back then, the Soviet Union, does not exist anymore.
We did solve most of our problems with race.
It's just that America's current stress is following old patterns and manifesting itself in racial terms.
We solved our problems with race once.
We can again.
