Me and Homer Simpson

This will be a short comment, because I don't have much to say here.

I have often wondered why people make such a big deal about Homer Simpson.

It's not that I am offended by him.  There are a lot of dumb-guy characters that I absolutely love!

But Homer Simpson is just not that interesting!

Why is so much attention given to a character who is not that likeable and just not that interesting?

Bart and Lisa are much more interesting characters!
