I am merely the chronicler of Legends. These girls are the Legends. I hope my writing lives up to them.

but these stories aren't just for children. Lucy could probably change our whole civilization!)

Note that I did not choose these names for their meaning, they were there when I experienced the stories- and yet they do seem symbolic of their holy roles in the stories! (On that matter, Jimi Hendrix can be translated as 'One who leads us to victory on the home front'- exactly his role in leading the Hippies! Wow!)

Hi, my pen name is David S. Annderson, spelled 'A-n-n-derson'. My stories came in dream visions- day dreams and night dreams, including daydreams of nonfiction. I want to share these incredible experiences with you. I have written these stories for you to enjoy, and for you to download and distribute for free in the style of Grateful Dead or Phish tapes. I claim copyright as a kind of 'anti-copyright' to make sure my stories will always be free for anyone to download or distribute. You may E-mail them, post them on any website, distribute them any way you want, all for free. You have my blessing. All I ask is that you not charge any money, and that you not change the text unless it is to translate it into another language. The stories are txt files and should work in most any E-reader, and print out easily. You may translate, adapt, or create your own art based on my work for free, without my permission. My writing is in the tradition of Steven Spielberg (specifically, the Steven Spielberg of E.T. and Close Encounters of the Third Kind (Not the Steven Spielberg of Schindler's List!* (though I respect that Steven Spielberg))), Jim Henson, and Tolkien, and such works as ET, Fraggle Rock and Lord of the Rings. Also the great Andre Norton, the Grand Dame of Science Fiction and Fantasy, who I discovered as a young man. (Especially her Janus stories, Judgement on Janus and Victory on Janus.) These are the artists that shaped my childhood dreams and fantasies, and my work is a fulfillment of my childhood fantasies. Andre Norton's Janus stories fired these childhood fantasies anew when I was a young man. Two of these, Steven Spielburg and Jim Henson (and perhaps Andre Norton as well), are in the tradition that was created by Mark Twain in Huckleberry Finn, and I am thus in that tradition. Steven Spielberg, Andre Norton and Tolkien, and some of Jim Henson's best work, is in the traditional mythic tradition that is as old as civilization or older, and I am thus in that tradition. These are the artists that shaped my childhood dreams and fantasies, and my stories are a fulfillment of those fantasies.

These childhood fantasies were created with my brother and sister, in the space created by the shelter of my mom and dad, with the wisdom taught to all of us by my grandpa who is my mom's dad and with the love of all my grandparents and aunts and uncles, and their blood flows through every word I write. My sister was my playmate, my creative partner. I was 20 years ahead of the other children; so was she. All these dreams I first created with her. My brother, the one who grew up to be a saint (I will put the story where I tell of him on my main page on DeviantArt in good time!), was willing to join in, and we thrived in the space created in the shelter of my Mom and Dad. Their blood especially flows through every word I write.

These childhood fantasies were driven by dreams of Lucy, who is Jennifer, and Ann, who is Lisa, two wise spirits and angels of the true God who I know in my heart who you will meet in some of my stories, whose divine light is the source of all my work

My nonfiction stories are the real world seen in the light of all of these childhood fantasies and all the divine light I learned from Lucy, who is Jennifer, and Ann, who is Lisa.

*In a world that had never experienced World War II and the Holocaust, Schindler's List would be a curiosity, no more relevant than any dystopian fiction that has no connection to reality. In that same world, E.T. and Close Encounters of the Third Kind would be just as relavent and would mean just as much as they do in our world. I know which one I believe is more important!

I do love Steven Spielberg's historical movies, though! They are masterpieces too- no one has treated those dark historical themes from the modern world as well as him!

For me, it's like, The Brothers Karamozov, say, or War and Peace, was a masterpiece, an amazing work, but it is not as brilliant or as important as the Book of Isaiah, the Word of God, the Love of God and the most amazing inspiring writing in history.

Schindler's List is The Brothers Karamozov. E.T. is the Book of Isaiah.

Imagine a person who lives in an ordinary world, an ordinary humdrum messy modern world, who discovers that their world has a magical and wonderous past.

This is not a story of such a person. That person is you, and that world is our own. Come with me and you will discover our own world's very real magical and wonderous past, a past with things just as beautiful and wonderous as elves and wizards: the beautiful cities of Ming China, the grand Mosques and beautiful gardens of Baghdad, the Hindu Temples and Buddhist monasteries of Gupta India, and the origin of it all, the land that taught all the others to create beauty, ancient Egypt.

The so-called Dark Ages were only dark for western Europe! The rest of the world was in a brilliant Golden Age! Western Europe was isolated! Come with me and leave a European-centered view of history behind and learn the true wonder of our history!

This is my second cycle of histories. Here get a closer look at the fantastic worlds I introduced you to in 'The Age of Wonder', as you discover this world's real history!

What I Do As A Nonfiction Writer

I just found a magnificent drawing that was an artists' reconstruction of a room in the magnificent Roman Baths of Caracalla. And I realized: that's what I do as a writer of nonfiction. Only I do it with words, as a storyteller. I'm just like the artist that draws magnificent artists' reconstructions of ancient monuments or ancient creatures. All of my nonfiction is factual, true to life, and it makes an incredible picture. You will be amazed at what once was in our own world, especially in human history! That's what I do. I also consider myself to be a writer of scientifically accurate Romances. Real scientifically accurate things out there are more fantastic than you can imagine! That said, these scientifically accurate Romances are not meant to be exagerated. Their facts are meant to be accurate; the artistic impression is meant to be accurate to the impression I would have if I were there in person. There is no need to exagerate. These are fantastic worlds. Real things more wonderful than any fiction. Worlds straight out of Tolkien, in our preindustrial past, the subject of my 'Song of the Age of Wonder'! These are real, and they really are like that. Or, they were, and what's left of them still is.

I am like astronaut Michael Collins as a writer. Michael Collins is a very good writer. But what makes his book one of the most amazing books ever written is that he is writing about his experiences as an astronaut. The first manned landing on the Moon, Apollo 11, and the most amazing of the great Gemini flights, Gemini 10. What makes his book one of the most amazing books ever written is that he writes of these amazing experiences.

I am like that. I am a good writer. But what makes my writing great is the experiences I write about. I did not create these experiences. I experienced them, just like Michael Collins. The works of fiction are all from dreams. I experienced them in dreams. The rest is nonfiction. My scientifically accurate romances. The only difference between me and Michael Collins, aside from the fact that I am not a pilot or an astronaut, is that I am a finder of experiences. I found these experiences. But they are not mine. I did not create them. Anymore than Michael Collins did. That is me as a writer.

The Book of Mormon, which along with the Bible is the sacred scripture of the Mormon church, tells of a civilization in ancient America supposedly founded by refugees from the fall of Jerusalem to the Babylonian Captivity.

In this short article I argue that the Book of Mormon is still just as legitamate if it is only a really good fantasy, since it is whether the ideas are true that matters.

And you can decide for yourself whether the ideas of the Book of Mormon, which is in the tradition of The Bible, are true.
