Don't throw out the baby with the bath water!

There are a lot of good people in the American South. Places like Georgia.

Segregation and racism were especially strong in the American south. But that was caused by a few rich, powerful people- a few rich, powerful slave owners in the early 19th Century a long time ago. Who spread a lot of lies and propaganda, and who were very powerful and intimidating.

But there have always been a lot of good, kind people in the American south. Places like Georgia, and Texas. There have always been 'white' people in the American south who were willing to be nice to 'Black' people. Like Jim Henson, who grew up in Mississippi, and Mark Twain. Both anti-racist artists.

And no one fought harder against racism and segregation than the people in the American south.

So let's give credit where credit is due.

It was the people of the American south- including 'white' people- who first fought against segregation in the Civil Rights movement. The hardest fights, the biggest protests, were all in the American south.

If you are 'white' in the American south, be proud. For it was your people who were the first to join with 'Black' people in fighting segregation. And it was your people who, along with 'Black' people themselves, fought the hardest.

They have a word for people like that in the American south.

Gentlemen.

Here's a tribute to all the good people of the American south, 'white' and 'Black'.

And here's a tribute to all those beautiful small-town values, which are still celebrated in country music today in the American south, in places like Georgia and Texas.

And here's a tribute to all those people who wouldn't mind having George Strait or Alan Jackson for President.

Love from California!

God loves you!

Sincerely,

David S. Annderson

P.S. And speaking of don't throw the baby out with the bath water, don't dismiss the good rap music because of the bad rap music! For there's some wonderful rap music out there! (By people like Tupac and Biggie... you know, the classics and the legends!)
