I know an old woman who lived in a shoe

I know an old woman who lived in a shoe

She had so many children she didn't know what to do

They had only one bedroom and only one bed

So they slept all together as they rest their heads

Then there's the young lady that lives in a hat

She doesn't have any children, just a very big cat

And late at night sometimes the lady will snore

And wake up the cat

Who lets out a roar

And there's the young girl who lives in some pants

When everyone's sleeping she'll go outside and dance

And I am the kid who lives in a shirt

There's a hole in my roof

and my floor's made of dirt

But I stay with the girl

She likes me a lot

And I stay with the doggie who lives in a sock

At least we're not under a rock

Like my noisy old alarm clock
