My housemate was watching a 'Black' comedian who was talking about endangered species getting legal protection, and saying that 'Black' people should get legal protection too.
I would like to throw my weight behind the idea.
If endangered animals have extra legal protection, than disadvantaged people should too.
Disabled people have special legal protection.
Why not minority races?
As long as the legal protection does not make it harder for poor 'whites' to get an education. Because it is the poor uneducated 'whites' that become racists.
You would be only making the problem worse!
It does not make sense!
But things like affirmative action would make sense as long as it does not risk creating more poor uneducated white racists!
Let's have special legal protections for disadvantaged people!
