Time Line Wilson's Fourteen Points

June 28, 1914- The Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand started what is now referred to as World War One.

April 6, 1917 - The United States joined the Allied Powers to fight in the Great War against the Central Power. The United States under the leadership of president Woodrow Wilson joined the war due to the sinking of an American ship.

November 1917- Vladimir Lenin issued a Decree of Peace.

October 1917- The Bolshevik Revolution, a Russian revolution which caused them to remove themselves from the war. They wanted to focus on peace within their country.

January 8, 1918- Woodrow Wilson gave his Fourteen Points speech, a proposal for world peace.

March 3, 1918- Treaty of Brest-Litovsk

November 11, 1918- The official ending of World War One.
