Spanish-American War Fall 2011

SUMMARY: The Spanish-American War consisted of four Hispanic countries and the U.S as well as Spain. These four wars happened around the same time all including spain. The wars were mainly between spain and the US and not exactly the individual countries. The US invaded theses countries and also helped the countries fight Spain for independence. In the end Spain surrendered all four countries over to the Americans but the countries were given independence instead of becoming a US territory. All except Puerto rico which was granted a territory of the US.
