How it affected the world

The Fourteen Points was used as a blueprint for world peace after World War 1. Wilson made proposals that would ensure this world peace for the future like the promise of "self determination" for the oppressed minorities. Though Wilson's blueprint for world peace did not agree with England, France, Italy, and Germany, his capstone point calling for a world organization lead into Treaty of Versailles (later known as League of Nations). As everyone joined the organization, American did not and Wilson suggests that without America's participation in the League, there would be another World War
