Aftermath

The league of Nation was a failure. The League of Nations failed to stop several of the most significant events that led to World War II. The failure of the League of Nations was one of the main reasons for the outbreak of war. It exposed weaknesses which encouraged Hitler to invade. The League had failed to resolve the major political disputes. It was to be a group of nations that worked together to keep the peace. One of the reasons for its downfall was that, after a vote, the American public refused to join. This made League of Nation weak. The League of Nations failed in the 1930s because countries began to realize that the League didn't have any power. The members of the League of Nations knew that many changes within the organization had to occur after World War II. The League of Nations was disbanded in 1946, which gave rise to the UN.
