William McKinney~ The 25th United States President. Since the beginning of hiss presidency, McKinley was concerned about the Cuban struggle. When the USS Maine was sunk in Havana, he attempted to prevent war and to persuade to presude the spaniards to adopt a conciliatory policy with Cuban rebels.

Theodore Roosevelt~ Before becoming the 26th president, he was the Assistant Secretary of the Navy. He was a key figure in the Battle of Manila, as he quit the navy to become the leader of the Rough Riders.

William R. Shafter~ He was the General who led to U.S troops into ground invasion of Cuba

William R. Hearst~ Hearst was the newspaper publisher working for New York Journal, who stated public demand for war against Spain by publishing incendiary articles and images, provide from Frederic Remington.

General "Butcher" Weyler~ He was the Spanish General sent to Cuba to put down the Cuban Rebellion. During the Cuban Struggle, Butcher put the citizens of Cuba into concentration camps.
